Following rigorous independent testing by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), our Obexion MDG security shutter has achieved G5, G10 (SR7) and G15 levels of approval. This is a first for the industry!
Setting a new benchmark in security
The shift from the LPS 1175 E category to the G category represents a significant leap in security testing standards.
- Tool set power ratings have increased from 18V to 54V.
- Testing now includes a 3.7kW petrol grinder and a 4-tonne trolley jack.
- The number of attackers for G testing increases to two, demonstrating a more professional approach to the attack and meaning that two sets of tools can be in use for the attack at the same time.
These upgrades demand a significantly higher level of resistance to attack.
As with other Obexion security shutters, the MDG version features Charter Global’s unique LockDown technology, maintaining its security rating without the need for auxiliary locking.
