The Obexion MD XR IWA-14 is our exclusive shutter certified to IWA-14, approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The Obexion anti-ram shutter is the first of its kind in the industry.

IWA stands for the ‘International Workshop Agreement’ and is considered to be the world’s impact test standard, designed by contributions from the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI), British Standards Institute, the US Department of State, and others.

The ram-resistant shutter’s achievement places it at standards of vehicle barrier systems such as bollards and road blockers. Typical applications include high-value retail, government & defence, financial sector, and others.

ISO Approved

Overseen by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), our very own product was put to the test, and as a result we achieved accreditation to IWA 14-1:2013 Door V/2500[NIG]/32/90:1.0.

The certification represents the conditions of the conducted test; the Obexion MD XR IWA-14 shutter was subjected to impact by a 2,500kg truck, traveling at a test speed of 20mph, on a 90-degree angle and a 1mt length of impact penetration.


LockDown technology

The Obexion MD XR IWA 14 ram-resistant shutter uses Charter Global’s unique LockDown technology. The added feature of LockDown means that the shutter requires no auxiliary locking to maintain the security rating. This technology also ensures that the shutter is never left in an insecure position.
